Craig is a resident of Des Peres, MO. He is a member of St Gerard Majella Parish and Troop 685 which is sponsored by the parish. Craig and his wife Anne have 1 son, Justin, who is an Eagle Scout and will attend the University of Mississippi in the fall.

Growing up in a rural Northeast Missouri community, scouting was not big. I moved to St Louis in 1989 and shortly after met my wife to be and made the decision to attend RCIA and join the Catholic Church. I was baptized and entered the Catholic Church at Easter of 1992 at St John Bosco in Maryland Heights. My son was involved in Cub Scouts in grade school and crossed over into the troop in fifth grade. He loved scouts. My wife’s brother is an Eagle Scout and her father was always involved with scouting. I became active with Troop 685 and soon found that I could not only enjoy Boy Scouts, but my Catholic Faith as well by becoming active with the St Louis Archdiocese Catholic Committee on Scouting. I have made a lot of great friends through scouting in just over 6 years. I look forward to making many more great friends. I have been a Religious Emblems Counselor with Troop 685 and started the Pope Pius XII program at our parish and in the last 3 + years have helped 15 Scouts to complete the Award from 3 different troops and 1 crew. I am proud to say that one of the Scouts I worked with in Pope Pius is now at the Seminary. I have earned my Wood Badge Beads as a member of Beaumont’s Boogieing Bobwhites C-03-08. I have received the Bronze Pelican and St George Awards. During the same time I was becoming active with the troop at St Gerard, I was also participating in Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP). I was part of two teams at St Gerard and had the privilege of being part of seed teams that brought CRHP to five Parishes’ around St Louis. I feel very comfortable sharing my faith by my actions or giving testimony to how Christ has guided and affected my life.
