Come join us for a day of adventure, faith building, games, fun, food, and Mass. We run two separate programs: grade school and high school youth. Families are invited to join us at the closing Mass at 4 PM. This retreat is open to all scouts and ideal for scouts working on Ad Altare Dei and Pope Pius XII programs.

Mass will take place at 4pm in the St. Joseph Chapel (fulfills Sunday Obligation)

Day of Discipleship 2017

A celebration and group sharing of the Mary, the First Disciple Program! This offers the girls to share the growth and excitement shared after completing their journey discovering the Mother of God.

Saturday, November 11 -Day of Discipleship: This is the final requirement for the Mary, The First Disciple Award. This is a day of sharing and celebrating for the girls. This is not an exam or review. This is a day just for the girls! We will start with a prayer service have trained facilitators from the Catholic Committee to help with this event.

Location:  Cardinal Rigali Center located at 20 Archbishop May Drive, St. Louis, MO, 63119.

Time:  9:00am-12:00 p.m. We will begin our day with a prayer service in the Chapel. All moderators are asked to attend and help facilitate table discussion. Immediately following the prayer service, the girls will proceed to the Lally room for a light breakfast and the start of their faith sharing groups.

What to wear: Something comfortable, but nice.

What to bring: The Mary, the First Disciple award project book and all of the related project materials that the girls worked on for the award. We will have tables to display their work as well as a laptop and TV, VCR, DVD player to show videos. We encourage the girls to bring their own laptop for ease of presentation.

We will provide: Breakfast, faith sharing and fun for the girls!

We ask that the girls make every effort to attend the Day of Discipleship, but we understand that major conflicts do arise from time to time. If for some reason, a girl is unable to attend the Day of Discipleship, e-mail us as soon as possible with the name of the girl.

November 15-Evening of Discipleship- We will hold an Evening of Discipleship only if it is needed. The evening starts at 7:00 p.m. and ends at 9:00 p.m. The location is the same as the Day of Discipleship.

REGISTRATION COSTS: Registration costs are $10.00 for each Scout, Adult or Parent.

Advanced registration is encouraged!

Bring with you on the day: Filled water bottle, warm clothes, and a fun attitude. Bring money for the store because we have “cool stuff” for sale!

 

Lunch is:  Hot Dogs and Chips and:

“Stone Soup”, crackers, condiments, bowls, utensils, are provided.

Bring a vegetable for the stone soup!

Each participant should bring the following ingredients: Last name begins with the letter Please bring this ingredient:
